Moreover, IES has vast amount of experience in the field of meteorological applications and the required communications systems for collection, processing and distribution of meteorological information.
We have worked on projects in Flood Forecasting for Central Water Commission of India (CWC) and developed an INSAT Meteorological Data Processing System (IMDPS) for India Meteorology Department (IMD).
We have also developed a Weather Briefing Workstation, known as ULTIMA. ULTIMA, and its earlier version HI-WIPS, have been sold to 11 countries. ULTIMA receives its data from ICAO/WMO WAFS networks SADIS and ISCS. |
